UPDATE 01/03/2024: Development on this project has been put on hold, mostly because I have shifted my attention towards working on another separate game. I hope to return to this title and complete it in the future.

It is 1995, twenty years after the fall of Saigon marked an end to what Americans knew as the Vietnam War. Although the once war-torn nation now appears poised to emerge as a major economic power, a multitude of dissident guerrilla movements have coalesced into one large independentist movement - the "Sóng" - which proclaims itself as the true heir of Vietnam's national essence and as a fifth column resisting the encroachment of foreign influence.

In an unlikely alliance, Vietnam calls upon its former geopolitical adversary, the United States, for help in the warfare against the Sóng - but not everything is as it seems, and like a ghost, the past presides over the present in unforeseen ways...

"Quy Nhơn 95" is a short single-player story-driven RPG set in an alternative history scenario, made with Degica's RPG Maker MV engine. It features a traditional JRPG turn-based combat system and a branching storyline with multiple different endings. It (was) set to release somewhere until the end of 2023 for free on itch.io.
