Version 1.2.5 released!


Wow, it's been over a year since this game was uploaded! I said the previous (and only) update would be the last, and as it turns out, I might have accidentally lied: in preparation for my next upcoming game, I've gone back to this one to add a few small quality-of-life improvements. Namely:

  • An autosave feature has been implemented that records your progress during crucial story beats, most notably; right before the decisive ending choice. If you've wanted to try out a different ending but forgot to save during the game's duration then this will hopefully be of some help - thanks to Felski for the plugin.
  • An option to toggle between Windowed and Fullscreen has been added to the Options menu. This was previously possible with the F4 key (as default with RPG Maker MV) but I figured an actual menu option could be more convenient - thanks to SRDude for the plugin.
  • Also added and removed other elements from the menus (the removed ones pertaining to vestigial RPG Maker features that are not part of this game). Props to the users in this thread!
  • And a whole extra round of typos have been fixed, together with yet a few more semantic overhauls. Ah, the pain…

And as a sort-of final swan song for my work in this project, here's a little trailer I put together a while back but didn't really have the opportunity to release until now. Since I intend to make trailers for future games, I suppose it's good as a matter of consistency that this page also gets one.

Now I can very confidently say this project is 100% done and finished and that it will never get another update - unless someone points out another typo, in which case; God help me.
